BRIEF
Joanne was looking to clean up her overgrown beach as well as protect her shoreline and property. She also wanted to create a beautiful atmosphere that was simple and low maintenance as well as a place her family and friends could enjoy during summer visits.
VISION
We completely scraped and cleaned the entire beachfront between the house and lake frontage to give us a clean slate. We installed a massive limestone seawall and steps to allow access to the beach while still giving her maximum protection and peace of mind. We planted Michigan native plants such as dwarf sumac to stabilize disrupted soil and protect against winds and erosion. Finally we imported over 80 yards of sugar sand to give the new landscape a perfect clean beach feel and look.
