Outdoor Living Spaces in Northern Michigan
Fire features, circular patios, and flagstone paths that connect cabins, beaches, and main houses.
Connected outdoor rooms

Jean's lakefront needed unity between the main house, guest cabin, and entertaining areas. Versa-Lok retaining wall blocks and high-format steps along a timber-frame path became the backbone linking every zone.
Outdoor living in Northern Michigan works when circulation is obvious—where guests walk, where fires happen, and how you reach the beach without trampling beds.
Fire & gathering
A circular flagstone patio wraps a semi-circle bench and custom fire pit—the hub for summer evenings. Steps through a natural boulder wall lead to a renewed beach, blending entertaining stone with soft shoreline use.
We design for real groups and real weather, not catalog staging. Materials are chosen for freeze-thaw, salt, and heavy use.

Flagstone & curb appeal
At Lee Point, grand flagstone for patios and walkways modernized the entrance without changing the landscape footprint. Stone steps replaced failing timber; multi-terraced beds added depth along the drive.
Whether you want a fire-first plan or an outdoor kitchen adjacent to the patio, we start with how you move through the property—then select stone that survives our climate.
